Regular Services at St. Margaret's
8am BCP Communion: A short service of Holy Communion without hymns using the traditional 1662 Prayer Book.
10am Parish Communion: A modern language communion service (Order 1) with choir and Junior Church.
10am Parade Service: An all-age service with Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts, Cubs & Beavers.
10am Parade Communion: Like the Parade Service but including a short, child-friendly version of communion.
10am Morning Worship: A service without communion but including a psalm, a choir anthem, Taizé music with the prayers and times of quiet.
4pm in winter (All Saints Day – Easter)
6pm in summer (Easter – Last Sunday of Trinity)
Taizé Service: A short meditative service (30-40min) of music (both singing and listening to), silence and readings
BCP Evensong: A traditional choral evening service with sermon & prayers. The music is led by the choir
Café service: An informal service of hymns, readings & discussion while sat round tables enjoying refreshments. (Sometimes this incorporates 'Reel Life', where discussion is around the theme of a film – the film is then shown in full at the end)
'Pilgrim Service': Beginning with a hymn, short prayers and a Bible reading followed by a discussion using the Church of England 'Pilgrim' material exploring the Christian faith. (1hr)
