The Real Junk Food Café is here on Monday 24th July. For an 8-week trial period the Cafe will run every Monday in June and July in St Margaret’s Parish Centre from 10am-2pm. There is no Café in the school summer holidays, but the Cafe will return in September.

Food at The Real Junk Food Café is served on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis. You can find out more on their web site: www.therealjunkfoodproject.org

CAFÉ DATES IN JULY

July: 24th

If anyone is having a spring clear out of their kitchen cupboards they are always grateful for donations of any unwanted food, even if it's past it's ‘best before’ date.

At the end of each Café, some of the left over food is given to families for their tea - if you have any spare plastic containers with lids in which the food could be placed, please bring them and pass them to a Church Warden.

Volunteers are required to take the tea towels home and wash and press them after each Café - if this is something you would be willing to do, please speak to a Church Warden.

JUNIOR CHURCH PSALMS

CHURCH FLOWERS

The flower team are looking urgently for some help. Could anyone join the team once a month, for half an hour or more, to help with a variety of jobs?

Small arrangements can be done in Church on Friday mornings or at home and brought into Church (this is a sitting down job). Also, help is required to dismantle the flowers from the previous week, This can be done on Thursdays around 6pm or on Fridays at 9am.

Please speak to Margaret Staines ( 259 1352 if you are able to offer any help. Thank you!
